So refreshing to see a musician walk on a stage with just a guitar and keep the audience spellbound from start to finish. It felt like a feast of goodness so desperately needed in these times of such cynicism and disillusionment in the world. I think great artists have a special way of moving us to a better place, offering hope and bringing people together - even if only for a moment. I felt this especially when the audience telepathically it seemed - ‘lit’ their candles in unison at one point in the evening reassuring us that there is still good in the world.
